What is Azure Remote Desktop?

Azure Remote Desktop (Azure Virtual Desktop) allows users to securely access a virtual desktop environment from anywhere, using any device, providing seamless remote work capability. This environment is connected to the company's network/infrastructure and it allows you to access restricted data.

Accessing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) :

1. Azure Virtual Desktop Client for Windows

Purpose: Ideal for users who prefer a desktop application or utilize multiple displays.

Steps:

Download and install the AVD client for Windows.

- Detailed Instructions
Sign in with your Microsoft 365/Office Credentials.
Access your virtual desktop.

2. Web Client

Purpose: Use this if you are unable/do not wish to use/download the remote desktop client

Open a supported web browser (Google Chrome, Edge) and navigate to AVD Web Client.
Sign in with your Microsoft 365/Office Credentials.
Access your virtual desktop directly in the browser.
